BARACK OBAMA THE 44TH PRESIDENT OF THE U.S.

Wow, can you believe it, Senator Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States. A lot of hardwork and dedication went into his campaign and now it is finally over. I was fortunate to be one of many who did some ground work and did my share of phone banking at the Nashville Headquarters. It is an exhilarating experience to say the least, and I am happy that I played a part in making history on November 4, 2008.

The Obama Headquarters had the election night party at the Cannery Row in Nashville and a great time was had by all. We screamed everytime we heard a new prediction alert on CNN and knew that Obama was getting closer to his goal of becoming the Commander in Chief. America we have come along way and have even more of a way to go, but I must say that I feel that God trully has Blessed America.

I must say that one of the best things that came out of the election was John McCain's concession speech. It was the first time in the campaign that I truly admired the man, he showed grace and poise in conceding and gave great words of wisdom.

America, we are not the only one's celebrating a victory for Obama, the world has been watching this campaign and they are excited too.
